hi all,

can somebody tell me how to animate brush strokes with maya paint fx ?!

i'm after having a bunch of daisies grow over a specific frame of time, filling a 2D scene i want to use in a video composition.

therefore i'd like to animate that growth as ornaments for the video-footage ( alpha-channel needed ! ) ... is there a way to record my strokes as i paint them ?

hope i made myself clear on this ... ( kinda brain****ed right now !)

thanks a lot

there are settings for this in the brush settings. you can setup wind etc.

i'm trying to animate some stupid daisies grow over a few frames of video footage, how can i link the relation of the strokes towards time ?

Look at time clip, flow speed and stroke time under Flow Animation.
