View Full Version : Zbrush 2 - Erasing Sculpting Mistakes

Just learning Zbrush, only want to use to improve models from other apps. I have heard that it is possible to erase sculpting mistakes, possibly with masking?
Does anyone know the process of doing this? Its along the lines of removing some sculpting while maintaining scultping done previously. I also don't believe it has anything to do with morph targets. Any ideas, am i clear?

yeah theres a few ways.
one is by simply going a level down or 2 and use the smooth brush.
another is using the undo ;)
another is to store a morph target of your model at stages that your happy with. later when you want to undo your misakes and paint a morph that you liked, over a single section, just use the morph brush inside the transform menu.
another is using smart resym, and that one is rather heavy on masking. if any seams show up around the masks just smooth them out.
theres probably another 20 ways, but these are the most common.
