Here is Sean Connery as James Bond. I originally started him at the same time as the gameart comp. but never had the intentions of entering him. But, I am gonna finish this model for my demo reel. So here are the wires and the latest texture update.
C&C please.

heyyy, that looks really good, the model is very clean. the texture looks amazing, and adds a lot of detail. is that face Photoshop, cause it looks like it, rather than Photomapped ?

Thanks.

The face was put together with many different photo sources. Mainly because in all the photos I felt that certain features looked more "connery" than others. So he was frankenstiened piece by piece together, which of course left seams to paint over. Another reason I went that route was so that the face and body would both keep a somewhat even artistic style. The body is all photoshop work though.

looks very good - its hard to find fault with the head and texture. Maybe theres a tiny bit too much gap where his top hair line joins the side at the top right but i'm not sure.

The shirt and suit are probably a bit too clean at the moment - maybe add some slight shadow and shading where the shirt joins the lapels and add some more detail to the buttons etc

its great as it is anyway :)

well, good point from jeepee. But i think its not only the hands that are too big, its his whole arms that are too short and relatively small in proportion to his body. Hard to see much with those renders... Can u give us some side and front views? Full views of the character please? Awesome texture there... Looks just like him..And the geometry of the head is great.

I like the model, a lot, but for some reason, it reminds me of Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) more then Sean Connery... I think it might be his chin.. On second thought, it's also the eyebrows, the way they curve up in the middle.. But other then that, great job, I really like that model!

Still haven't made any changes yet since the last image post... but here is a full body shot. The texture on the arms, hands, legs, & shoes have not really been started yet.

Young Connery was the best Bond. Roger Moore is the second best with Pierce coming in next.

I think it looks very good, but yet again I am a bond fanatic so anything bond will be super cool.

looking really nice man. i think the hair is the best part. on the suite, you might not want the seam to be that far out, check out a real suit and it is a bit closer in, and it travels further down the side.

other than that the whole thing is looking good!
