I started this for the last unofficial cgtalk challange but i didnt finish it in time because of my lacking of textureing skills. I though i'de start a new thread out here to get some crits onthis one.
Would anyone be intrested in an SDK? I think its a pretty good base model and it has lots of potential =)

very nice model, yeah i saw this in the challenge forum , i was waiting to see how it turned out. Love that movie. Anyway, i think the head can definitely be improved to get a better likeness. Theres something about the shape of the head that makes it harder to notice that its woody. Also, the texture is good, but not really professional looking. First the resolution should be upped cause its giving blurry results... which isnt attractive. More colors to the face, and try changing the tone of the skin it looks way to pale.

The texture lacks detail and definition.. Play with the shadows and highlights a bit more.... Add pockets, wrinkles, and detailed seams to the jeans. Also it looks like you've got quite a bit of noise going on. Smooth it out and add texture where applicable. His hands also seem to have no detail att all. Fingernails, knuckles, wrinkles and the like will add a lot of realism. Hope that helps!
