HI Folks...

I added a graph editor Audio modifier to the Luminosity channel of a texture - and chose an audio track. Works a treat - but doesn't look right.

So, I nuked it, and hand animated the Luminosity graph. THEN, I saved the file and went to bed. Next day, load up said file and bingo! the Audio modifier is back and my hand animated graph is nowhere to be seen!

So - I tried a few experiments and it turns out.. once I have added an audio modifier to the graph editor.. I can't delete it!! .. delete/save/load .. it always comes back!! Shift "clicking" the E button on the surface editor doesn't work either (it pretends to, then comes back on reload)

So obviously.. Graph data isn't getting saved... hmmm

This can't be right - anyone else come across this...??

Luminosity channel you say... of an object? Did you only save the scene or did you save the object aswell? Surface settings belong to objects not scenes, so you have to make sure you save the object if you modify surface properties.

After you have saved it, try and load this object into a clean scene and you'll see that it still animates.

.. I think when you are working really close to something... you sometimes miss the obvious... cheers evenflcw.. sigh..
