i wish to create a realistic sunlight in MAX what is the settings that i may use? please do not tell me to use the sunlight system because i tried it.

For indoor scenes when i want rays falling in i use a directional light.
If you use Brazil, check out its skylight feature.
You must use a lot of intensity though. And the sun is faint yellow and not white.
Tell me more of your scene or insert a pic of it.

I use a daylight system, ships with max 6. Its a combination of a sunlight system and a skylight system. Then turn down the multiplyer of the skylight a little for better shadows of the sun.
Be aware that you turn on external Lighning in the envoirment rolout > through Logaritmic exposure control. Otherwise you'll get massive light intension.
This could deliver nice lighnin.
