I am at a complete loss on how to animate, I tried doing a shape tween but it looks extremely messed up look a bowl of string going all over the place as it morphs into another object...

how exactly does one animate??? an example animating a bullet going one way then turn towards you, change perspective of it etc??? shape tweening??

Anyways im just confused and can NOT find any descent online resources... THANKS>

your object is morphing into another object or shape most likely
because when you used shape tween, the object in the first
frame isn't the same shape as the object in the last frame.

if its a bullet going across the screen, select the bullet and turn it
into a graphic symbol (select object, press f8 for shortcut)
then use motion tween.

to do the turning of the bullet to make it go towards the viewer,
you have to animate it turning so the perspective looks right. flash isn't 3d so it's a bit tricky to do things like that.
you can use Swift 3d, which can do 3d stuff and import it into
flash.
