04-28-2004, 11:27 PM
Looks like warcraft fan arts are quite popular recently :D
Well here is mine.
Done in Painter 8
Original size is 6000x5000 pixels.
A lot of Hours work (didn't count)
Shows the Gnome Warlock with his Imp pet in his shop selling various and some strange items. The Imp is there to keep the shop "tidy" and to bring the Gnome his wares to sell.
Well enough said here is the picture...to see more Detail klick on the bigger 1500 pix pic.

Great concept and awesome render on this pic, specially the main guy! It looks like I've seen this picture somewhere else... Is this the first time you post it?

Thanks a lot all for the positive feedback :D
@JMendes: no i havent posted this before. i had a Wip thread going on some german art forum but thats all.
@prasa: No it's no copy of something. The only thing i used a reference is the Succubus in that little frame in one of the shelves. I used a screenshot from the game to draw that one (to exactly capture her pose and such).

H O L Y M A M M A!!!!! That's incredible!!!! Extraordinary level of detail!!!
There is just one thing that I want to criticise (if you can call it that)... His left arm seems a bit thicker than the right one (or maybe its just me), and perhaps it a bit shorter as well... Last thing, meybe he should look at what he's pointing at....??
But amazing work!!!

Thanks again :)
i think it's hard to say in this perspective that his arm is longer or shorter which doesn't mean you are not right.
As for the pointing where hes viewing i have to agree thats right. Somehow i haven't seen that :)
thanks for the crit
