Yeah well I think it's brilliant!

I like realistic stuff but I like the stuff that goes a bit further more:thumbsup:

I'd make his eyeballs glassy to bring out the roughness of his face texture in contrast.

Killer textures BTW!

stunning !
German invading Africa again ? :)
the whole rendering tells us, deep into enemy's sun-burnt territory :P
i'm not sure about the background, still maybe a little bit strong (despite it's blurred) ... Well, with such a sun burning, some slight heat distorsions might help :)

great great anway !

Great stuff! I love the style and lighting here. I think it's too bad you didn't make a proper scene for the background. He looks totally out of place in his WW2/WH40K outfit against the modern tank and crew. At least try to find a suitable WW2 picture but even better...model an environment! ;)

I think the best pose is the third one but might look better with him looking ahead sternly instead of closing his eyes; thoughtful but focused as opposed to thoughtful and distracted.

Keep it up, hope you make a full scene out of this!

Just found this thread.

Really like the image and am a big fan of this style of non photoreal modeling.

Just thought I'd say great stuff.

Love it. I can see the warhammer inspiration you brought to the character. As well, that exspressivness is great in those last couple.

I thought he didn't match the background though, looks a little funny imo.

Facial expressions are the best I've seen yet. I like the wrinkles in his face and the bad eye he has. Excellent modelling.
