View Full Version : Mapping UV's for SubD

I just finished a model in SubD that I'm going to begin texturing. My question is if it is better to convert SubD->Poly to do the textures then coverting Poly->SubD afterwards? I've heard it is and I've heard it isn't.....just wondering the pro's and cons to each method.

By the way, if it matters, I am planning on unwrapping and painting the textures in photoshop, not using procedurals.
