hey what are you using as refrence because you have a couple of errors on your body lines...

the corners of the inspection panels need to be more rounded

and the line over the rear wheel arches more up, it doesn't dip down like that.

the vents in your hood cowl are also way too big and there are not enought of them.

here are some refrence shots of my baby (shes dirty from being down for 2 months because of brake issues).

Look good. It seems as if the cress down the side of the car my be to sharp. The hood also looks like it extrudes to much outeard. Good luck with your car. I look forward to seeing the progression. Could we see some wires as you go along?

wow, thanks for all the replies fellas and thank you ebola for the ref pics, nice 240z also. I knew about the vents being big and not enough of them.. but i had enough trouble getting those to look as good as they do hehe.. ill try and fix it later.. about most of the lines of the car, the rear quarter panel is a custom fender job so it doesnt look like the original :) and on to the good part.. the updates..

Looking good man, the black one is kinda hard to see.
Post a rear shot.

nice work, this is getting better and better. The custom fender makes it look like a hybrid 240z/mustang, very tough. The chrome around the windows seem like they need more tweaking/details (the shapes/corners seem to square around the rear quarterglass)

Great work!

Can i ask you how do you make the borders betwen chasis-parts? Do you just 'extrude edges'? Bevel? I'am working on a CLK GTR & i'am having some problems with it... So far the borders are cut but merged (0 spacing).

Keep it up!

Ty for the comment Habix, as for my edges I shift + drag the edge so it makes 90deg. angle and chamfer the corner edges. Hope that help in any way. .if not ill post pics later. Heres for an update.

this is looking great

the render needs a little work though, aliasing issues? and if the car is moving there should be some blur around the tyres and on the tread etc

i really like the sun light on the hood

keep it up!

Wow.. back from the dead hehe. sorry bout that last render.. it was resized by photobucket because it was too big. That render however was pretty dark and the car was black hehe.. so the details were hard to see. So heres the latest, featuring my own pride n joy.. the ae86. Enjoy!
