This is probably a dumb question, but what do you do with the Symmetry object after you've made it editable? is there any reason to keep it or can you just chuck it at that point?

Honestly, unless there is some top-secret advantage for keeping it, I'd give it the ol' toss-a-roo.

as soon as you make it editable it becomes a null object - so it is no longer necessary
