View Full Version : Beast of Burden - Character - L0rd
Going to try the challenge again as i didn't get very far at all with the enchanted forest.
So here we go then. What I thought of first was some kind of hybrid science fiction monster a cross between a rhinosceros and a mech warrior carrying a load of precious mechanical scraps, with some strange goblin like creature seated on top of it's shoulders and beating it with a stick.
But then i was reminded of a wee half starved pony I once had the pleasure of meeting while stranded in the Australian desert. The pony was called Sorrow. The poor thing was carrying the most uncomfortable load imaginable.
Lets see if I can do him justice.

Very eomtional story and sketches. I like your idea of making a regular, everyday beast of burden. Good luck
Thanks Zr0-1.
And look at that! a start to the modeling and everything.

Well you certainly dont much about, thats a fine start. That heads coming along nicely.
Its kinda funny, I dont think anyone else has choosen to do a horse/pony and it is kinda the obvious choice, well that and a huge Beast;)

very nice posing in those sketches. I hope to see those gestures come through in the model.
Started work on the torso but it's a bit of a mess. So here's the head instead.

Posing the horse is going to be interesting. Would love to include the chap riding him, if there's time?
