Just wondering.

I currently have a Nvidia Geforce4 ti 4200 w/64mb RAM. It runs pretty good, but usually only at 15 fps with one character in the scene. Is there a better card I should be aware of?

Thanks,

-Brian

whats the rest of your system look like? It could be that your system is the bottleneck.

hmmm. Well I can tell you what I have, mayb it will help decide. I had a quadro 2 ex board (32 meg) and I upgraded to a geforce fx 5700 ultra (128 meg, fast ram). I have yet to really push the board so I cannot comment about frame rate, however the rest of my computer is similar to yours, I have an extra processor though. If you're unhappy with your performance you may want to look for a cpu and ram upgrade. I know at work with maya we are constantly upgrading bi yearly. The thing that seems to give the most bang are usually the processor upgrades. Thats jsut my 2 cents.

Yeah, the 5900 is probably a real good card for messiah, thats the one I was initially looking into, however it was about 100 or so outside my budget. I bet you could find that one online for a good price though.
