The initial concept and creation of this idea moved very fluidly. I may try to incorporate the dolphin X-ray into the image. To get more in depth I could also add a story along with the image.

I had some trouble deciding which colors to use, but I have to say I am pleased now. This seemed like a good stopping point, any further and I might have completed too much.
I will try to add a background story along with the final coloring. Though I am a better artist than writer-and the artist side still needs improvement.

Eh he, Cool. First, I like the colouring on the dolphin, nice. The backround perspective needs some work though, the white horisontal lines seem to be too evenly spaced.:wavey:

I added a lot of shading into this image as well as hi-lighting the details. I left the caption at the top out and added my insignia at the bottom. I decided I will include a concept story to the final image; that should better illustrate the purpose behind this image. Well, enjoy.

Final Image. Done. Enjoy!
Concept Story:
The worlds oceans have been destroyed. Pollutions of all kinds have left these great bodies of water uninhabitable.
The few creatures that survived have had to undergo extensive alterations to stay alive. A team of scientist have attempted to preserve one precious creature, the dolphin.
The surviving dolphins have been immobilized, due to their crippled nervous systems. They have no use for their flippers and caudal fins. These were removed and mechanical parts wired to the active nervous system are now in place. Limbs have been designed to give them a new kind of mobility. Other alterations have been done inside and out. They have now been transformed to survive outside the ocean as land dwellers.
This is only a temporary measure. It is hoped in years to come these creatures will be able to return to the world they came from.
