View Full Version : SDK for you - Malebase - Mini "comp"

Well I read this thread over on polycount about workflow and I wanted to test my own workflow. I gave myself and hour to finish a malebase from a concept by Zdead (love his style :) ). This is what I came up with.

I thought Iīll give it to the ppl in the form and let you guys play around with it. Itīs not a 100% optimum (anatomy aswell :D), but hey ... what to you expect for an hour work.

Then I thought it might be cool if we do a little mini mini mini "competition" giving this guy accessories and using this model as base. Like give him a head, hands, armor etc. ... just for fun you know.

Well whatever hope you dig the idea or at least the model

here it is :)

umm, possible to supply a maya version also? i don't have max :(

ok np m8, Iīve updated the zip file with an extra *.fbx I think maya can import that if you have the plugin. I donīt remember the link to the site with the plugin ... sry

ok he is done :) He has a basic head and some basic hands. Iīve added an *.obj to the zip file so that the MAYA users can also play around with the model.

1792 faces atm

The smoothing groups will be messed up when imported as *.3ds or *.obj ... donīt know why :D

Iīll be adding my personal things to him wich I will only publish as pics ... you know mini "comp" :D
