I am trying to use Pyrocluster to render some particles i have in a shape of a mesh i am using. I have started with the example scene i foget who i got it from but it is called TPfluffycloud.c4d. This example scene uses a mesh to control the shape of the pyrocluster particles.

Basically i would like to be able to control the shape of particles with a PLA mesh. And render those particles with Pyrocluster.

When i load and try to render this scene nothing happens and cinema4d stops responding.

Has this happened to anyone else?

the file is attached

Hi,
the example is available from my website www.bonkers.de and was created by Wahn Raymer.
It seems you messed up the PC parameters a bit resulting in way to large particles that would need forever to render. Try to zoom out and you will see that the PC puffs are extremely large and torus shaped instead of spheres.
Cheers

Thanks Srek. That did the trick. Now to get it to work on one of my meshes. I suppose i just need to replace the mesh in the TPcloud example with my mesh. No?

how can i get a metaball type effect with this scene? I would like the pyrocluster particles to have a contiuous single shape and not look like little puff balls.

anyone know how?
