Here's my idea for a Beast of Burden...the Atlanteans need air from the surface to fill their domed cities with fresh oxygen. So, they attach a harness to a trained octopus, and he swims to the surface with 2 attached crystal spheres. The sheres fill with air, and he has to pull them back down to the ocean floor. Pulling large quantities of air below the surface is difficult, so the Atlanteans have attached flippers to 4 of the octopus' arms for added power. (the other 4 arms wrap around the spheres and the cables connecting the sheres to the collar for added stability).
I might not have time this month to make the model, but I wanted to at least show my idea. Hope you like it.
