My first concept- Human will be forced to deform and transform themselves in order to against stronger types from a different dimension … to survive… (My design will be a mixture of mechanical, bio, armor, weapons, plus some spirit type of energy…..) Hope you guys will like my work! Please don’t hesitate to give me any opinion, new ideas or correction. I will be glad to hear them all!!

well , you change stuff around to get something new , and
in this case it would be the hand and forearm that seem to
come from the middle of the creature... is this planned ?
and if it is ... why not a full length arm ? is that really useful ?

then again just though not all of it might be visible so i dunno :)

Thanx for replying me and questioning me. :p I think I am still in the stage of developing ideas to get something that I am happy with, and about that single weird hand in the middle of no where ... haha I think it is totally "useless". I will try to do some more designs with better ideas!! Please give me more of ur great suggestions when something new comes up ok! Thanks!!

a development of the preious idea, still using the concept of the space suit as a base. Added some color to give it a metal texture... what do you guys think about this concept comparing to the last one?

Hey Tony. Good work. Good to see you in the contest. I love your drawings. To answer your question ... I prefer the second drawing, the third one is also very nice, but when I looked at them for the first time I liked more the second one. The only thing you can change is the hand on his chest.
Nice work man. See you.
Alex

I think my main theme is almost formed since I have been wondering around and making new designs. My idea is that - Right now, we are using computers as a complement to do things that we cannot do. And I was wondering what if it becomes the opposite, which means computers are using us (our brains and parts of body) as a part of their function to complete their shortages. For example, computers will be able to have instant reactions, instincts, smell sense, logical thinking without database, actually physical ability (the simple example is-if we unplug our computers, they can plug themselves back.)…etc. This might also be the answer of how computers are going to replace human if they have their own mind.
2007, scientists create a strong self-learning systems-Thinker X-7 so that computers can learn from their own or our mistakes to avoid further ones. Moreover, they would be able to think in a broader way. This is a successful experiment. However, nobody notices that the main computer reproduces itself into the backup system, and the reproduction is figuring out some information that scientist never input in- ambition, revolution and colonialism.
2021, scientist create a multi-function robot Rax-21E for the mission to research a new found galaxy, and they also integrate it with Thinker X-7 as a sub central system. One week before the mission, X-7 decodes Rax-21E and makes it its own. It cuts three major scientists’ heads off and connects them with itself so that the shorted functions can be completed. (Scientists’ brains are restricted for only calculating and feeling for what X-7 cannot do.)
X-7 begins to use human as mechanical parts to create many its own sons…..
Of course, X-7 is not the main character here because it is EVIL~
Therefore, in order to against X-7, scientists create something more powerful to protect human’s own survival…
And this design is the first model of X-7.
The main character will be designed after X-7.
The last thing before I get started is that I am not sure if this idea has already been used…. I think what I could think of must be thought by somebody else… Haha!
So if anyone knows similar ideas before mine, please do tell me! That will be really helpful. Thanks!!

Your skills are good enough to get a winning pic, for sure! Just concentrate on a idea and pull it to the limits.
what if it becomes the opposite, which means computers are using us (our brains and parts of body) as a part of their function to complete their shortages.
I think you have a good point there to start developing it. Just put on the shoes of your computer!

Wow, I am really glad to hear this POSITIVE reply from you, Hdri. Even though I don't really think my skill is good enough to get a winning pic, I am gonna try my best to burn my brain off to get some more innovative ideas... and of course, visual stuff as well.
Next time, do tell me if anything you don't really like or could be better. I will be glad to hear that! Thanks! :D

Your latest one is superb masahiro.

Reminds me of battle angel alita a bit. Sorry i didnt read your story, but i'll let your concept work do the talking.

If you can do stuff like that in 30 minutes i wonder what you will come up in 50 days.

I definitely like the direction you are going with this. Your last pic has some cool ideas there. Plus I think it is most appropriate as it seems to be more along the lines of a flesh-like being merged with the machine, sans the contest theme. Whereas the previous pictures you posted, while did do that as well, it didn't seem as apparent and I dont think they would've been a positive direction to go in designing a winning entry.

But the latest ideas are definitely on the right path and some nice drawings in general. Can't wait to see the next update or milestone.

Wow~ I am really glad to hear this comment, Feeesh!! You know, sometime, ppl are trying to do whatever crazy designs they can but the designs are off the topic. And I think I did that! Therefore, I really appriciate that you pointed this out so that I can make sure the direction I am heading right now!! Thanks!

This is a new concept for X-7. Instead of putting his human resource in the back, I think showing the scientist's head in front makes it more dramatic so that we will be able to see the contrast between the facial expressions of the "computer" and "human". The only thing I am worrying about is the design for the head might be too ordinary... (Devil heads are everywhere!!!) Once again, don't hesitate to give me opinions!! I love too hear them all!!

Hey Masahiro,

You've got an intriguing spin on the whole machineflesh idea, I like it. I'd like to point out that your latest figure's center of balance seems a bit too far forward. He'd have to have some very long feet to be able to maintain that pose! Other than that ... good job, can't wait to see you colour it! :)

Thanks Speaky! Actually I noticed it after I finished drawing the connection between the knee and the leg... Haha! Too late to fix.. (this drawing) but I am definitely going to fix it up when I compose the final image! Thanks for pointing this out! :p
