This is a tough one, I thought I would give it a try.

Failed method #1 (because we learn from mistakes)
Make a much bigger sample, fill it with your angled text. Find a mark (end of e) and place a horizontal and vertical guides on it. trace the lines untill you hit these marks then add perpendicular guides. This should give you a sqaure which hopefully tiles?

Unfortunately some sets take a very long time to repeat themselves (and I think Robert Penrose proved that some sets will never tile infinately). Your BG doesn't tile correctly for at least 800 pixels (how far I tried it).

So an alternative, make your square and 45 degree text, tile. It won't be packed together but it will work. If you want to try making a grid use the shift tool on multiple layers.

Sorry. Hope I helped in some tiny way.

First thig I would do is replace your "text" with Solid lines. If you can get your Solid lines to tile the way you want then Switch out the text. Now with the Design you did, it will Never "tile" seamlessly. The tile hs to be excaly the same on the Top& Bottom, or the Left& Right. or both. If it isnt it will not tile. YOUR image is the "same" on the top & Left, and Bottom&Right. This means it will not tile automaticly.

Cheats---

Make your Background all one image- Will take a while to load, but Will work

Tile everything manually using <div> or <table>- Takes forever, and problay will load as slow as above.

Solution-
Easyiest solution if you dont like the above cheets is to Remake the tile.
