Well here's my entry. Or concepts. I thought about crippled birds that are perhaps been in accidents of various sorts and thought about crane birds. Well this one has lost it's legs.

Then I thought about it a bit further and perhaps most of these birds have been in accidents of various kinds and evolved further and still keeping their various disabilities. This bird is part of a tribe that moves by rolling on a giant millstone. The size of the millstone determines the Crane's position in the tribe hierarchy. The bird here is wondering who was the other crane that left his millstone, although small in size, to the middle of the desert.

There's also your common cybord-bird, perhaps with an eye disability, but there's not much else to it.

Going further with the crippled crane birds I again though about various birds that had lost it's legs and had to replace it somehow. This one has replaced his underside with a huge jet engine which is also equipped with wheels to help the bird move around while landed or just help it to land safely.

The offspring of this bird is stationed at the rear-end of the bird, equipping the small AA-cannon that is necessary to defend the crippled bird formations or lone flyers on their long flights.

Well, here's the Crane bird god or goddess. I originally thought, that the Crane birds of various kinds were born inside the great god bird and they would spew out from various holes and "factories" inside the bird. But as I sketched this out pretty fast, I forgot to add most of the factory-like things there so now it just seems like a cybernetic hull or something. The god bird is situated in a small mountain range where it is safe.

Well, so, what's the use of having a god if it's not even responsible for your birth? I then put up some crippled crane birds in front of it, to worship or something and I figured out that all of these crane birds hadn't yet earned their place in the tribe and thus hadn't been given their first millstone tires (see above). So this is their ending ceremony where the great god bird gives them their first wheels which are made inside the god bird.

Obviously, seeds of discontent have already been sown and a lone gruffy crane bird with his millstone wheel is looking at the ongoing ceremony, pondering if the tribe is weakened by the new blood that gained their wheels easier than he did... long ago.
