"The Little Matchgirl"

I spend a couple of hours on this idea in PhotoShop CS and with my Wacom Graphire 2. The last one I think is a little sad, reminds me of a story by the danish writer H.C. Andersen called "The Little Matchgirl". I hope you guys like it, crits are more than welcome...

i like this, the second one especially, the first is a bit too clean looking, and yes #2 has a sad feeling to it...

Definitely the second. It adds that magical feel to the piece. Great choice of pose and good use of colors.. I especially like the ice hanging off the moon. Look forward to seeing the finished piece.

i think the spot lighting (if thats wat you used please excuse if im wrong ) should be off thepage (off to the top) so therefore it really doesnt make sense and it looks like an opening in mid air......... do you get wat i mean:blush: ... neway jus tryin to help out...I LOVE IT NONETHELESS

Really nice Jeppe :applause: I especially like the second picture, because of its fairy-tale/dream look. I don't really have anything to criticise, maybe only the light start point, put it outside the picture insteed ;)

Keep up the good work
