This is a study of the potential replacement of the current commercial airliner. The blended wing body design allows 3 times the passenger capacity of that of the 747 with much more efficiency.

Anyways, this could be better but I though I will leave this piece to you. Please post anything you think about it, good or bad. Much appreciated.

Thanks,
Karr

Nice! Very well done! the engines look a bit out of place for some reason...maybe they just don't look firmly attached?

Great idea even though it means fewer window seats. In this craft 1st class wouldn't be the front, but the sides with all the windows, while regular class would be squished in the middle!

Yes, I agree with you on the engines. It might be the angle in which I rendered it. The engines are actually attached way back.
Perhaps I can post another view.

I appreciate your comments Pearson. Thanks, Karr

Or perhaps give the two side engines nice wing stubs to sit on top of. That would make them look solidly attached to the rest of the plane. Like the middle one, except without the fin on top of the engine.

The engines look much better in that last shot. Really nice job on the spec map too!

These look really nice.

I would consider making the contrails darker rather than lighter than the clouds. Just a suggestion. They arent working for me.

Is the paint really that glossy?

There should be sun visible in the last picture (side view) according to the shadows. Remember that the sun illuminates a whole section of the sky, and falls off gradually. Even the hint of sun off camera can add alot of interest. This can be added in post very easily, just a light gradient.

Just nitpicking, I really like these.

I tried to make the contrails look different since the engine that will have is of a unique combustion from conventional airline turbo jet ones. But, I have to agree, they don't add to the realism I wanted.

Thanks for all your comments.
