Hello everybody, this is my first character post on CGTALK. :D

This is an anime style 3d character from my upcoming
short animation. It was done in 3ds Max 5.

Comments, suggestions and anything that you want to say about this render are welcome and much appreciated. :surprised

Thanks,
Karr

Nice model! the hair looks great and you did a good job on the facial expression (very cute indeed). Did you base her on the joan of arc tutorial?

C&C
-the textures for her clothes need a little work. They look blocky under her breast.
-the way the hands are posed looks strange to me... Maybe something more natural looking
-A different background might show her off better

Good luck with the animation and keep us updated with the progress!

I was trying for some different style suit.
still.. undecided on materials.

her body is less subdivided/smooth than her face.

I agree with the boring stance/pose, this were just my first studies of an anime character for my story and I was so eager to show them that I forgot to really give her an interesting story on the render.

I will revise this one and re-submit.

Thanks for the crits and comments.

Karr
