View Full Version : CharacterWIP: Listening
ingramworks 04-20-2004, 11:44 AM Hi all, thought I'd share this WIP. I'm mainly working on it to get past a little creative block I'm in, but I'm also using it as a chance for practice on my colouring techniques. C&C welcomed as always :)

Thanks perfecti :)
I'm not completely sure by what you mean "sharp edges". Do you mean more of a crisp edge on colours, more like animation colouring, more like I've done here?:

This is an attempt to move away from that harder edge technique. Athough I really love using it, it's not always right for every job, so to speak.
I do need to tighten up on the colours more, that's for sure. I need to define her shoulder more and tighten the modeling around her eyes and wrist. Of course, finish the hair and eyes :)

Thanks perfecti :) I do use a tablet, but not for the line work, in both these images I used Illustrator for the line work.
Here's the final piece, hope you all dig it :)
