I am presently in my final quarter at RIT where I will be graduating with a B.S. degree in New Media/Information Technology.

I am looking for an entry-level position in the film/animation industry or the video game industry. My particular skillset seems to best match a technical artist position, but I am open to any opportunities that come up.

I will be available mid-June 2004 and I am willing to relocate.

I have worked in the IT industry for over 5 years and I am presently looking to change careers.

My skills include DirectX, C++, .NET/C#, XML/XSLT, Maya, 3D Studio MAX, various web development technologies, project management, and process development.

My portfolio can be found here - http://www.kaetera.com/sites/portfolio

My resume can be found here - http://www.kaetera.com/sites/portfolio/CZacharias.Resume.pdf

I am presently working on a game demo tentatively called Turtle Tumble, as a collabarative effort with two other RIT students for our 3D game programming class. My creative efforts have largely been focused on this project for the last few weeks and I feel that the journal I am keeping for this project may provide additional insight into my work ethic and abilities. My journal for this project can be found here - http://www.kaetera.com/sites/gameprogramming

Also, any questions, comments or criticisms about my work are absolutely encouraged. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks,

Christopher Zacharias
