Artists: Want to see your textures and models in a fun game quickly? This is the place!
I'm the lead programmer/designer at www.BestGameEver.com (http://www.bestgameever.com) where we release an original free game every Friday. We're having a lot of fun experimenting with innovative games. Here's some we've released so far:
Tune Racer 2 (http://www.bestgameever.com/gamelog.php?id=P24): Race while playing your own music CD. The more intense the music gets, the faster you go.
Free Parking (http://www.bestgameever.com/gamelog.php?id=P15): You're the parking attendant trying to stop cars from parking for free. It's an overhead RTS game in which you can buy laser towers to help defend the parking garage. However, you can also switch your view and drive around the field to run over the freeloaders in your hovertruck.
Travis Must Die 2 (http://www.bestgameever.com/gamelog.php?id=P45): Travis (a physics ragdoll) is hanging upside down above a lake. You're driving a truck and must find a way to run him over. You can launch explosives and also have the ability to freeze the lake at any time (turning waves into icy jumps).
Loop Hoops (http://www.bestgameever.com/gamelog.php?id=P35): Keep the beach ball aloft and create your own music. Each basket you score adds another layer to the music. Don't let it hit the ground though or you'll get a nasty thud and return to silence.
It would be great to include high-quality original graphics with our games and I hope seeing your artwork in the games would benefit you too. I don't expect to gain rights to your work, just permission to use it. If contributing to projects like these sounds fun to you, please contact me!

By the way, my development framework is Quest3D (http://www.quest3d.com/). It's perfect since it supports both low level module creation (c++) and high level interactive gameplay creation. It's not necessary for you to be familiar with Quest3D, but if you are - all the better.
Talk to you soon,
Dylan
