I'd be interested in seeing the wireframe of how he did the areas around the mouth...

Great find !

When Tim Choate founded Renderosity it was on the assets he'd stolen from a woman who worked her ass off to built the site up for him and was never paid a dime for it.

I don't go there.

it's a long, very old story.

If you want details about it you can ask on the Galaxynet IRC network on #3D_ErrorCode50 (server: atlanta.ga.us.galaxyne.org)

If you're using the MOZILLA browser you can use This IRC link (http://irc://irc.galaxynet.org/3D_ErrorCode50) to get there. Only works with Mozilla, however.

I think that may just be great use of lighting and diffues, but perhaps chanlum or vreel luminance, very possible. I would suggest everyone check out the new VREEL girl available, comes with fantastic models textures and a new shader not sold seperately, VRELL luminance, like chanlum but with more options and colour control, I am using both depending on the situation and such as chanlum is still better for velvety things and Vrel takes longer to setup but can provide added control on things.
