Hi all, A friend just turned me on to this forum, wow, what a great place! I thought I would join this challenge - more a challenge to get caught up than anything! I just want to expand my character modeling abilities, so, that's my main goal. Here is a pic of my "BOB", I like to call it a "Flobogin". I wanted to make something cute, timid, yet, still strong enough to pull his load, I'm not sure of what kind of harness or ornamentation I'm going to make yet, I thought I would play it by ear, and try and get the creature done first. Please excuse the crudeness of the sketch, it's a quickie - I'd love some feedback on it before I get started (This Weekend), so please, any and all comments would be greatly appreciated!

Kindest Regards,
Flypaper

Haha, Hey Buddy! Long time no talk! Anyways, love your Beast of Burden, just one question - Are those shells or loose skin that cover him?, Can't wait to see the mesh! Catch ya later!

Flypaper - Doubt if anybodys listening

That's where you're wrong! We're always listening... and watching your every move... and then when you least expect it, BAMMM! :wip:

Nice ripples in the back there! A good start. Keep it coming!

Just another quick update, No detail, just hashing out the body design. Here's the back leg. - It's rendered in perspective so it doesn't match the sketch, in this pic, yet the proportions are the same.

Just hammered on a concrete bump mask, was thinking about making this a stone creature, Just to test how much detail was needed to be modeled into the body, quite a bit, as the bump washes out the current detail.
