Hi!
I use this plugin a lot for my 3d work in after effects and find it to be a real time saver compared to rendering dof in my 3d app. I would normally render a depth map and use it for the dof fx. My question is how do I do the same in Photoshop. When I apply this effect in Photoshop the depth map button is greyed out. Is there something wrong with my plugin??? Thanks in advance.

are you talking about Frischluft Lenscare or Lens Blur...?

do you have an alpha channel in your file?

If you are talking about lens care or the built in lens blur of PS SC, you have to make a selection, select and Alpha, layer mask or transparency as your depth source.

Check the docs that came with your plugin or your PS CS copy, the answer is there.
