the image above is the last I did!
Great start but I think you should work on the anatomy.
Maybe it comes a bit late cause you already started to
colorize but it might help for your next picture.
The right is too big and the arm is too long. You have to remember
that his right arm is farer away from the camera so it has to be much smaller. Right now it's bigger than the left hand.
another thing is that his body is twistet to the right but his legs are on the same level. I think I know the pose you are going for.
You should shorten the right leg to bring more perspective in the image.
I think you could give him longer legs. Right now his upper body seems a bit too long.
hope this helps.

explain more, i don't really understand!but normally there is no problems man!
I like your pencil sketch much more than your digital sketch.
So I tried to visualize what I meant on the pencil version. Hope you don't mind.
I think you should colorize him with normal skin tones. Like a
Thai boxer or something. Don't linke the blue color and I think
the Metal amor doesnt fit with the character.
Here is the paintover. Hope it helps!
Think I screwed up his right hand.... :(

definitely gotta work on that anatomy, the line of rib cage/ serratus way high, the shoulder/deltoid on right looking weird, plus that line overlap for the bicep off on left side, sketch some more anatomy, but cool to see you trying your hand at digital painting. Keep workin on it...

looking much better now!
You used dark brown and gray for the shadows in the face.
Try to put in more red and give him brighter highlights.
You can darken the midtones a bit and add a bit more red in the
skintone. Now it looks too desaturated.
keep it up!

and like that? is it better? i changed levels to rise highlights, and changed saturation!i made a copy of my PSD file just in case ! if you think it's better i'll continue on that file!

hairs done!advice?
http://users.skynet.be/fa499477/chveu.jpg
the skintone looks much better now!
The skin and the hair is too blurry in my opinion.
what I can recomend for the hair is to use a very big brush
first to block in the basic color. Then you make your brush a bit
smaller and paint some strokes. you continiue this until you
have a really small brush. That works pretty well I think.
Be careful with the soft edge brush. It often gets too blurry
if you use it wrong.
Just go on like this now. If I find some time I could make a color
overpaint if you want. But I'm too busy at the moment...maybe
tomorrow.
But much better than the first one! Go on!

body isn't completely finished, there is still some work on it, but you can have an idea! suggestions? reactions?
Do you know how i can get something less blurry? when i use a hard pencil it's to bad because it's to marked!
http://users.skynet.be/fa499477/fight.jpg
your shadows are too dark now. Take some photo ref and check
how shadows on skin look like. That will help a lot.
you painted a highlight on his right shoulder but the light is coming from the right. There can't be a highlight. Looks strange.
The hardedge brush can be very soft. Set the opacity to pen pressure. With the brush tool selected you can pick colors with
alt so you don't need to switch to your color bar. With that method you can easyly paint smooth transitions between two colors.
here is a quick example how you can use the hard brush.

well eveyrthing's done!thanks again to goro for his help! any request so far before i put it in the 2d gallery? if someone's has got a good background to give! i take it!!http://users.skynet.be/fa499477/done.jpg
Congrats!! Looks really nice now! Hope you see your huge improvement!
The folds need a lot more work. The pants look flat somehow
but you'll do it in your next image. I'm impressed of your improvement.
I tihink you don't need a background...but what you can do is
to paint a light gradient from a darker brown to a brighter brown.
So you will have a feeling that he is standing on a ground.
Don't use the gradient tool just paint it. Use a big hard edge brush with opacity to pen pressure. Take a look at my Kill Bill fanart I made yesterday then you'll understand what I mean.

Again great work!
Hope to see more of you soon!

well it's done! change a bit the clothes, made a background and remade the left foot, and the right hand!
can i put it in the finished gallery?
http://users.skynet.be/fa499477/last.jpg
I think a brown would fit better than the blue but maybe it's
just me!
Sur put it in the finished work. It's your painting! Again congrats
