Have you ever dreamed of making your own comic album?

The bot is based on the figure acting at http://www.guigalaxy.com

Tools: Photoshop (pencil 10% - 100%), one layer), wacom A4Oversize

I'm not sure but i think the pic is not finished yet. Mhh... You like the style of rendering?

the first thing i thought when it loaded was that i love the pose and that fact that it was incorporated into a comic book cover.

the second thing to immediately catch my eye was the thumb on the right hand. it seems too curvy and twisted unlike the fingers on the left hand which have the hard-edge joints. other than that i really like the color and lighting.

keep it up!

really nice design stoned! the overall look of the cover is great, not to much content everything is aiming on the bot, i really like how you did the rendering on him (uh my english sucks :D) reminds me pretty much of markersketches. What i don't like are his looooong legs... they are to flat, not detailed enough, compared to the rest of his body...

Thank you all for the sincere critics, i luv that.

@A-Pek: You are totally right about the the thumb on the right hand. Incredible how drawing can make you blind. I ' ll correct that.

@perfecti: green reflection? Mhhh.... i'm not sure if i understand you the right way. You mean all the green-yellow or ajust a certain place. Would ya like to explain?

@prasa: The site is about posting links of a certain net scene. I'm a fan of it. But it isn't my site, nah... i just like the character a lot.

@Neox: let's see what i can do!

Thanks again!

..damn my english not so good to explain details .. i mean ..this guy have some green colors on right side ..and i think it's unnecessary .. i guess you make it cuz text above is green too .. but i think the title will be looks better with blue (aqua color ) .. like guy ... that's in my opinion .. so don't bother to change something ..

I will keep the green. I would not have used it if i wouldn't like that way. I think it will look a bit boring without that green (could be orange too).

But it's interesting how other peeps the pic.

Thank you perfecti!

Awesome color work! You did some really cool color combinations with really cool brush strokes! The pose and robot are cool too! I don't think you should change it at all and just put it on the finished work.

@Basura3d : i changed it already, but nothing noticable for non-illustrators.

I'm working on other covers at the moment.... when i got my serie complete i'll post it at the "finished works".

i like the style, very fresh! the design isn't that bad either!

crits...i pretty much agree with the leg issues Neox commented on, i too think its a bit flat.

the other thing that bugs me is the hands! the finger size isn't real consistent. on the robots left hand (the hand holding the glass) the fingers are all pretty much the same size. but on the robots right hand the fingers differe in size?? plus the left hand, the fingers look longer than the right. last thing is on the left hand the way its positioned i think you would be able to see the pinky finger there.
