View Full Version : James Dean
Spritemare 04-17-2004, 08:15 PM I always wanted to try making a black & white. I started playing around with it and just wound up finishing it. 25 hours, PS 7, wacom, using a photo as reference (sorry, just cant find the photographer's name...)

excellent job on capturing james dean's likeness. just a few thing i spotted
1. this being a BW piece should probably have a BW background. the blue stands out way too much and kinda kills the picture in its entirety :/
2. the fabric of the leather jacket looks aweseom, but the wrinkles arent as great...
3. that huge shadow running down his nose makes his nose look off-centre. might want to tweak that because without having seeen the detail shot, i would've thought the nose was off-centre
great job, though! 25 hours is CRAZY! @_@
