I had this confusion and I was wondering if anyone can tell me Mesh modelling and Polygon Modelling are the same.

In 3ds max poly is an upgrade version of mesh.Poly really got more manipulations, but still mesh is easy to use. For human modeling, I prefer to use mesh and I use poly for modeling robots, architecture...
