Okay,

I just found something out I never thought to bother with.

Deformers WORK on C4D NURBS (opens up whole new worlds for MOI :bounce:

I'm looking through the tutorials at Maxon, but I'm not seeing anything which puts deformers and NURBS/Splines together...

Anyone know of any good tutorials?

I'm mainly looking for ideas as to possibilities, however.

It seems like this would be fabulous for any kind of cloth simulation... :D

can you please tell us how did you do you first experement? I do want to do some flag that follow some spline path, or something like a fish that follow a path.

okay....

first time out I did this:

I set up an extrudenurbs with extrude Y =100

I drew a spline with six points in a straight line and placed it under the exturde

Then the flag deformer under the spline.

I'm now playing with loft, but you need a deformer under each spline...

Anyone:

I'm tring to figure out if the deformers consider the Bezier Handlebar nodes points as well as the main spline points...

I've reason to believe it does, but I'm not really sure...

Anyone know for sure?
