This is my quick sketch and idea. The Idea is that St Peter doesnt just moderate the gate, he is the gate. I know this idea has a dark twist for the usually uplifting religious theme, but I want to portray that the gate represents the cruelty that can be life and the prize is on the other side.

Here is a more refined line art. Not quite there yet but it is coming along.

I think I have finished all of the major Details for the texture of the door. Just need to begin to add some of the mechanical components to the door.

I have lost all of the work on my machine flesh entry due to my hard drive deciding that it had work hard enough and had lived a full life. I buried the thing yesterday!!! Had to get a new one and I lost all of my work! I guess I will have to start over if I have the time!!

Sucks to be me!!
