In one night I was thinking about to paint a girl only in Photoshop, and I started to drawed the shapes (lines) after a photo, and after that I started to paint the girl.

After 3 or 4 nights the result was this:

Now I think I have some problems with the shadows and lights ... and I didn't want the drawing to be realistic...

Looks very realistic...

did you trace the actual photo or did you do it freehand...

eitherway your technique looks great... just try to soften the edge next to right eye (the fatherest one) you can still see the unaliased guide line you created.

I traced the lines for contours from the original photo, and I painted the girl in Photoshop only with brushes.
The hair, is created the same with brushes (size 1 and 3) at the resolution about 2000x3000. After that I applied Gaussian Blur about 2 or 3 times, and that it the result.

It's my first painting in Photoshop:)

Thanks for the right eye, I'll modify!

Thanx very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm happy, I have one reply!:bounce:

Wow! Very nice work.

The ear is espescially well done.

I can only pick out one thing that bothers me a little. The line between the top and bottom lip looks a little too obvious. Maybe soften it or try and create something similar with a darker tone of the color used in the lips.

Excellent stuff thoug..show us more! :D

other suggestion...

maybe try to lightening the edges of the face slightly to get some of that back light... it might make your face pop out more... and try lightening some parts of the hair to give it more shape...

This is my first concept art, and I'll try to modify this girl, because I fall in love with her:))

In the rest I made layouts for websites, and other stuff:

In the past I painted some things.

Thanx!!!

He, thats a very good start man!

Let me give you some easy to do, standard tips though, that will improve your piece some.
- please put some shape in her left eye (I mean the one in the back)
- Don't put too much grey in the white of the eyes. Only in the upper part of it, as a shadow of the eyelid.
- Put one highlight on every iris. It will make the eyes stand out more.
- You can never put too much eyelashes in. That's never much of a problem. Only she'll look like a slut if you push the limit too far ;) (but that's not the case here).
- Lips; always make the upper one darker than the lower one. And put some dots of white paint on the lower (as a reflection on wet lips). That's a fast and easy effect that will always work ;)

For the rest: she's a lovely girl. (You can allways send me her e-mail adress ;) )

Only trying to help, post more!!!
