Looking real good, you could easily bllur the background a little more to get rid of those scale artifacts..

I really like the pants, nice wrinkles..

Can you post a higher res image?

nice! I love the clothing! did you use a cloth sim for it, or was it modeled?

either way! :applause: :buttrock:

one thing though: the right(her left hand) hand is floating.

Great stuff....
Luv the rinkles too, but it looks like there might be some camel toe going on there:surprised

Only thing that looks a bit off is her left hand not resting properly on the wall. Shes leaning her weight on it so I think the palm should be flat against the wall.

Hiya,

Phew, what a girrrl! Really nice, nice model, nice clothes!

But I have to agree with the blurred, but still mosaic background, and yes, her hands (both) aren't laying on the wall. Only her left hand should be...

Show us a wireframe, please!

Overally, great job.

Great sexy looking model! I love the clothing although I think the wrinkles in the shorts are just a little too perfect. Can't quite place my thumb on it. I would like to see more of her face too.

Funtastic model but somethig is wrong with her left hand I think.Maybe just a pose.

I like the color and lighting on this picture. The model is really nice and so is the clothing :).

The right arm looks like it has been deliberately shortened. It could be the angle. While this is natural for support, the right arm does not talk to the camera.

Even if you did make the hand touch the wall it could still look unnatural.

You could try simply turning the hand 180 degrees around.

If you feel like working further on the picture, try perhaps a different pose. You could try to point the elbow out at a different angle. That would change your composition slightly though.

I just sketched over your image to show you - there's nothing better than a picture to describe an idea (it's a good thing too because sometimes words fail) :D

The more I look at it, the more I think that maybe just turning the hand around will do the job. It may be easier to hide the point where it rests on the wall. Would save having to deal with the squashing of the hand (due to body weight).

Again, very nice work.

ps. I'd love to see a wireframe too.

When you said right arm, did you mean left arm?

I think that the left hand is bent back way too much, her wrist would be broken. Just fix that arm/hand.

I like the shirt and rendering. And the background does have some artifacts.
Good work though!

This really REALLY looks like the work of SegaAM2, and I wouldn't trust this unless we get some good wireframe snaps.

I call the bluff. It's ripped.

I'm already happily employed, and I'd hope any future employer of mine would have better English than, "my gril of china"...

I'm calling it a mega-rip of a SegaAM2 screen, or maybe even something from NAMCO. If he was good enough to make the wireframe and textures, why is the background so crappy, and why is all that unstylish design going on in the near background with the dragon symbol there? The horrible looking text with a "Leet" first time using Color Dodge with a downloaded copy of Photoshop is also out of place for a fine looking model as this. Besides that point, this resembles heavily a cut scene from a game, or even an in-game high-res render, simply because of the way the background is horribly blurred, and filled with jpeg artifacts.

It was a rip, with no other information, no follow up. Caught red handed and now he's gone.

WEll, matt does have a small .. err.. "small" point. I know there is no proof or anything and i'm not blaming anyone but... notice this:
The model looks sweet, everything perfect except the hand and that DARK shadow on the shirt (on the right) A bit too sharp dont ya think? Anyway, the model is great... but.. a person making THAT kind of model WOULD realize that the print and background sucks A$$? i mean cmon, jpeg compression is not THAT bad... but anywho... I played namco ridge racer games and yes, that was the first thing poping into my head when i saw the model. But hey, who cares, its just a forum.

If the guy did do it, thats some NICE skills! very cool.

ow, and some of the best 3d artist friends of mine are from asia, they can beraly say "pass the ketchup" Those dudes have skill!

但是我觉得老兄没必要把中国这么强调吧 国外高手很多的 低调一些还是好点的

A little bit of racism about china, I think in general modellers in china are better than most other countries, If someone has put china in the thread it always makes me want to take a peak, usually i find that there has been a lot of hard work. As far as style my taste is different, but there is usually a lot of distinctive stilyle as well. This model is no different from what i have come to expect from chinese work.

IT IS very good, and has bags of style.

As far as language goes, most chinese speak better english than i do chinese, the language and especially the writing are very diffferent and i could never therefore criticise them for their bad english. It is only us (non chinese speaking people) who suffer by any communication problem as we miss out on a lot of culture skill and artistic merit.

I like the technique for modelling solid hair... similar to what Roy used for his femme.. Seeing a model without texture on it does help you learn a little from it.

Thanks for the post :)

I never said anything about Chinese people being bad at modelling. That bit of racism was made up by whoever posted it first. I merely said the guy came on, posted a pretty picture, and left because there were days and days with no follow-up. Maybe he did make it. I still don't get why the background looks like it's from a game though, instead of being higher-res, but good work anyway.

Guilty until proven innocent is the way it works on the internet.

Uh... Matt, I don't think it does. :D

There was a guy posting from Italy who posted a render that was seemed to close to the DAZ Victoria figure (Poser compliant OBJ) to be a coincidence.

I posted publically that it looked to be that way and said that if it was, he should be honest about it, and if it wasn't please post a Wireframe.

He posted a Wireframe, and the proof of the matter came forth that it was indeed a Victoria figure.

But he continued claiming he'd done the model in Max, so a friend of mine who also happens to be the director of the PFO and a Max user posted his own wireframe of Victoria's head which matched exactly.

The thread has since been deleted, presumably by the original poster.

You can be more tactful with such things... it's just a matter of choosing words carefully. Reveal that you're suspicious, but don't alienate anyone if there's a possibility you're wrong.

The girl is incredible!

As for the low-res background, maybe he wanted some pics to set the mood for the girl and went off to grab some low-res photos from the net to save time. He never claimed he did the bg anyway, so I don't think it's an issue.

And I don't think anyone should be accusing others of ripping off without any proof of it or everyone could just jump to a thread which doesn't have any wireframes and accuse them of that. And this post has just been up for... a few days? It's not even a week or two. Not everyone have personal internet connection, you know...
