It is pretty much what the tittle says: "Third Eye Installation". After many conversations with the patient he finally volunteered for this assigment. Although he hasn't got much to live for his aproval finally came through. Although his execution has benn put on hold, he will be one of the few lucky cyborgs with their very own additional eye. This relatively painless procedure opens a new chapter in the world of Robotic Brain Surgery giving the neuro surgeon an inside look at the human psyche.

thes are a few lighting tests...with the head in place but not quite finished.

The lower body of the torso is going to be replaced with machinery to match the concept art.

this is a lighting/post effects on photoshop. I am just trying to create a nice dramatic field and accentuate the two main charaters....the man and the machine operator.

I am jumping around in the process because I am testing things back and forth so I can get the most out of the image.

this is the final shot I want for the image. I think it gives a nice sense of depth and containment at the same time. The camera does have a focal lenth of 14 or 15 so it can give some distortion to the room.

Thanks man!.... I am trying to see if I can add a little more elements to the background... to make it look a little more industrial.

I still have to model the mechanical arm though and some bottom elements so the guy doesn't look like he is floating. Then comes texturing!!

Thanks again for the comments!.

Wow EdiMun, that is some cool stuff, I can't believe how extreme and how detailed some of your and the rest of the entrants work is. I'll bet "boning" your mod was about a nightmare!
Good Luck

Thanks 3dlover!!, although I am really upset I couldn't finish the final piece in time. I will get back to it as soon as I have some time available.....its just that it might take me longer to finish 'cause I know what I have to do and it is a lot!.

Thanks everybody for the support and hopefully I wont take too long finishing the piece up.
