This is a terrible rough concept piece detailing a half vampire/half cyborg.
My premise was that there are VamBorgs in the future that collect blood from victims on the streets for their very decadent vampire lords.

This is a more detailed blueline sketch for the VamBorg.

this is ultimate evil... absolute evil

The rough GillGirl base figure. I'm switching to an underwater GillGirl figure since there is already (and a damn cool) vampyre cyborg.

Here is the more techie GillGirl.
Now onto some more involved design work.

I've decided to go with my original design - because I like it so much. Let me know what you think

More detailed version of my hunter VamBorg. This time I have added an additional storage unit in her chest and drainage taps for hair. This way a number of vampires can drain her reserves.

Where is my final linework for the VamBorg before I start painting.

Hey! Love your idea, great final lineart too. I a big fan of lots of wires so I love what youve done here, especially at the waist and the hair (cords) is very cool. The piece looks great so far so I don't have aything to critique. Looking forward to seeing it painted. You painting it digitally? Photoshop or Painter? or by hand?
06-09-2004, 06:31 PM
I am going to paint it digitally using Painter. I love pipes and gears also. The VamBorg is a newer version of a character named Software I did a few years ago. I'll post the work here later.

Yeah, I designed Softwired 10 years ago and dug her out when I wanted to redesign the hair on the VamBorg. She was part of a cyber trading card set that did not get off the ground.

Here is the very base color setup.
Now to start painting!
