View Full Version : Polygon to patch, retaining Quads

I've been experimenting with patch modeling recently. I don't like the modeling process, slapping patches together.

I prefer to build a model with Epolys, then convert that into patches. The problem is, it doesn't convert quad polygons into quad patches, instead it creates two triangular patches.

Is there a way to do this, with out having to rebuild quad patches manually?

Hey..

u have to use the "Turn to Patch" modifier, in the modifiers list..
with that.. u can keep the quads and change some other options to ur liking too =)
