Hey guys,

I just have a couple of monitors here, both res at 1280x1024 and have it set up on an ATI Radeon 9600.

It's already set up to span between the two monitors (i.e. i can use it to drag items between the two) however my question lies on the desktop....

HOW can i make the desktop appear on both monitors, and what i mean by that is for example, the wallpaper, i want the wallpaper and the start menu toolbar to be extended between both monitors.

Right now, what i see is the same wallpaper on both monitors, it's not an extension of itself, or a continuation of itself on the second monitor....it's just another dang wallpaper!!!

Also, the taskbar doesnt even continue onto the second monitor, it just stays on the primary one.

Is it possible to get the desktop to look like it's a continuation from primary to secondary monitor, as well as the taskbar?!

Please help!! I'm using Hydravision but there isnt an option for it!

Thanks in advance!

** i'm using two really old crappy monitors....one 19" KDS, the other a 13" old crappy one.....that make a difference?

Hey Erazal,
I can only suggest you try Ultramon. From what I recall it does everything you want! :)

Like he said, ultramon. To make the wallpaper span, set it to tile rather than centre

all i do is create a bitmap the total dimensions of the two monitors, 1600x3200 for two 1600x1200 monitors, and then set that as the desktop image, and set the desktop mode to tile...

using bitmaps allow you to leave active desktop off
