Perhaps you should tell everybody a little more about your mod to get them interested ?

That sure sounds like a plan.
Well, this is going to be futuristic war based mod. There is a strong feeling of size here. We are looking to create huge battles. This will need some performance adjustments but things should work out well.
Even though this is a futuristic look, we still want things to stay famaliar. Artists would have the ability to take current weapons and vehicles and predict what they would look like 100 years from now. As well, artists would have the ability to come up with some totally original stuff.
Things that are still in the idea stage are possible space combat missions in little fighter ships, combat a numerous moons around the main planet of the story, as well, as numerous ideas for original vehicles such as mechs and exo-skeleton suits. I would be more then happy to share more details with people that want to become members. However, I do not want to give away too much.
In a nutshell, I am looking for people that can either take current designs and adjust them as well as people that look to create new and unique objects. Since this is the future, there is a lot more freedom.
Any questions or comments????

Well, we found one 3D modeler/concept artist. There are still more voids to be filled.
Just as a little project update, even though are team is currently limited in size, the staff forums have been buzzing with some great concepts. This is gonna be a great product. As the leader, I have made it my main objective to let people know I will not let this project die. Too many great ideas would go to waste.
This is the list fo features we have so far:
> A single player modification.
> The sum of over 500 years of modern warfare.
> Immersing story that grows with the character.
> Voice acting that gives all the characters life.
> Resource management techniques are implemented. These are tied into the story so tightly that at no time will the player feel like he is burdened by this.
> Large scale battles in huge, lush environments. You will feel overwhelmed, but you will have control.
> With the help of high end AI available from the Source Engine, there will be dynamic results to battles. Each result will be reflected as the game progresses.
> The only way to lose is to die. If your side loses a battle you accept the consequences and move on to the next mission.
> Each action by the player is tallied. Honorable actions will result in raise of rank as well as other benefits. Going against your orders will have the opposite effect.
> Both sides will have unique weapons and vehicles. As well, different units will have different attributes. These will be all introduced to the player throughout the game.
> Your choices guide your experience. Different choices, as well as the number of
victories and defeats your side experiences, will translate into a totally different game experience, including different missions and different plot points.
> The number of units lost per battle is counted. This will reflect in later missions. In other words, battles with high casualties will be very costly in the long run.
> A multiplayer version will also be released
> Missions will include assault, defend, infiltrate, space combat, scouting, escort etc.
Please, any other artists or modelers, come and join our forums, join the team and help make one amazing product.
Thanks:thumbsup:

Things have definitely imporved in the last little while. We have a decent size team and things have been moving quite well. Currently, we are still in need of skinners and animators. Anyone wishing to join come take a look at our site. The look has changed a bit, just for those that may have visited before. Thanks
