..... mm ... sky takes too much place .. ..mountains too ... maybe in 3d this will looks different ... but drawing ..... very simple ..
and gate don't seems like death .. gate ... hells gate must be large .... i think so .... very large .. with skulls and bones

yeah you should make a pic from a low perspective as if the gate is really high and impressive (and if course it is!!) you must get the feeling like you're afraid to enter but still curious about whats happening behind the doors... I'd say scetch around some more!
