is it possible to replace particle with a light???? through fx browser? or linker which ever it is?
im trying to get and emitter to spit out point lights ???
if there is no way im open to suggestions about other methods i could use to simulate this

i tried creating an object then using fx linker ..but if i do it that way i don't get the desired trail of light that im looking to be left by the objects themselves

maybe you could try using luxigons? not sure how it would work though..
create a poly.. add luxigons to it.. send it to layout..clone it in layout using fxlinker.. and then convert luxigons to lights..??
might not work, since i dont know if the convert luxigon plug in layout can be used on multiple objects.
but you could give it a shot..

yes you can link a light with fxlinker, the same way you would link an object.
pfx and lens flares! wooha! ;) thank god you couldnt really do it in the 90s, otherwise the lens flare craze would of been even worse!

You can, but you'll find the fx-linker for lights under the motion options modifiers for the light. Run the linker and it'll attach itself to a single perticle. Then just clone the light as many times as you wish and each new light will be attached to a single particle.
