I got this idea from a magazine I was reading there was a metalwire-basket in it. It gave me the idea. modeled in max4.26 and renderd in Brazil R/S, no post exept for the text.

hope you like it!

Hey this looks realistic to me!

Maybe a little less glossy would give it the final touch...

PERFECT WORK....

The enviroment and lightning is very nice

scene looks very nice. near-photorealistic. i'd say considering the dirtyness of its surroundings, the basket should be dirtied up a little as well.

'thnx everyone!

thnx for the comments!

Pegasus : hi! the glossyness is something that always seems to be a problem, because of the objects being so thin and stuff, to create some more variation in the colour I used a noise map in the reflection channel(wich uses a fresnel fallof to control the reflection) .

GRID : hi! rendertime was 3.5 hours(1800+ 512 ram) the thin splines are a problem when using DOF, they break up into nothingness easely. so I pushed the DOF a bit to get even those smoothed out.

JFrench : thanks, well, it really is a museumpiece "like"object, so its would be cleaned often and Gold doesn't rust. but I know what you mean.

again: I am really happy with te responses!

thank you
