Hey You all..
I'm curious ..
I know all of us have a particular way of Blending colors, or creating gradual shifting of colors with our favorite lil ap, here...
Personnally , i just like to keep it simple and use a lower opacity colored brush , and build up my " thickness" like that ..
But.
I have some friends who do weird tricks with feathering the edges off their quick masks..

I was just wondering ,,,
What is YOUR way of doing it???

care to share , ...anyone??

I If I want the edge to have a spacific look, I will make the gradient useing th eGradent tool, and then "tweak it" useing the Smudge and Clone tool.

If you mean creating a 3d look, yes, it's a good way to use selections, move/feather/invert them and then to fill them for black (shadow) or white (highlight).
