Hi everyone.

This is the 2nd time i try to participate in a challenge and i hope i will have the time to properly finish this one, as well as participate a bit more actively in the forum.

As with the alienware challenge i want to start with the idea in text, before i jump to the visual sketching.

I thought quite a bit about what to do and basicly started with 2 very contrary approaches.

First i thought about doing somthing funny or crotesque. But i soon came to realise i wanted to do this, in order to not have to think about it properly. Also, browsing the forum and having seen the snail with turbines or the frog with mechanical enhanced jumping legs, others seem to do that a lot better than i might have been able to.

The second idea was to do somthing deeper, more touching. Nothing cruel, sardistic or even dark but somthing that makes the viewer think. Basicly i wanted to follow the "Ghost in the Shell" idea. (May "Innocence" come to a theatre near me ASAP!). A cyborg character, who has become partly machine(shell), but still has got a soul (ghost).

I'll elaborate on this a bit later. I did this post mainly to give myself a kick in the ass and stop be unproductive.....

Good luck to everyone.

i think i got my idea into final shape now.

Instead of wanting to make the machine pute somthing cruel or funny, i want to show it as somthing "normal" for future humans.

My basic idea is to show a babe-cyborg, doing a yoga pose and being deep into meditation. While here mind is doing somthing very human, there are going to be 3 different kinds of artifical parts:
a) she is going to have an artifical leg and arm on one side, as if she had had an accident. (replacement)
b) She is going to be artifiacially enhanced with cyberplugs, maybe an artificial eye. (enhancement)
c) she is going to have nano tatoos. (fashion)

I hope i can bring a yoga-meditation mood into contrast with the techno-human.

Next step is going to be to find some interesting yoga poses and do some sketches.

It hurt to see how bad my sketching is...

Don't know if that is going to be the final pose, i got a bunch of others in mind and as reference.
