Hey, this is my idea so far for the machineflesh competition. It's my first serious competition i've ever joined. Wish me luck.

The first drawing is much more dynamic right now. I think the second drawing , though good, needs an evironment to explain more. Good Luck:thumbsup:

With what you have I think it depends on what you want to portray....
The first is very active and looks painful....
The second is still and looks quiet.....to contrast the still peice, I have to agree that you need to explain more of a story in imagery.....Although it has the potential to be very beautiful or attractive to the eyes(I apologize for the typos, I am on a soft keyboard and I don't think I will ever get used to it...)
the painful/angry one needs a little explanation as well, so we understand why there is that reaction. Maybe something to move us into sympathy with him? Or something to horrify...
Just my two ents - hope it helps in the developement
AND GOOD LUCK (this is my first too, so I am abit nervous)
