I want to do something that reprezents a bit our real actions. Humans see themselves as pure and innocents, but at the same time they harm everything that sourounds them.

Good concept....humans are some mischievious succers. Is the human in the picture representing a child.

Little crit....it's still early but watch your anatomy.

might be interesting if she were weeping over what she had done here... just a thought

I actually really like this. I agree it's early, this is a concept sketch, so I'll just comment here on your theme. It's wonderful, really, like a modern-day Frankenstein situation... I'm really looking foward to seeing the finished product. I love all the details you put in with the machinery too. :applause:

Just a quick drawing with colour to see the atmosphere and composition. It needs a lot more work

I think the little Icon is a thumbs up? hehe

I like your concept, and I agree with the tinker bit about humans. You know when "they" first tested the hydrogen bomb in water, they didn't know how it would react with the water for a certainty and thought there was a percentage chance it could cause a chain reaction/explosion destroying the planet and "they" did it anyways?

Lol funny little things you read.

It helped me to see the color comp you have.... When you work on the detailed peice, be sure to shadow the human enough so that you can distinguish quickly that he/she is actually sewing/working on another human.

Also, a little more of the destruction around him/her ...like maybe finalized projects? or something to represent destruction...not too much, don't want to distract viewers, but suggestive might be nice. To deepen the scene?

hope this helps, and I look forward to seeing it as you work!!

A detail of the leg to see the mechanics better and to practice more for the final image.

I'll write my concept since I didn't do it in the beginning.
So it's all about us: how humans desire to become like Gods. Humans always want to invent new stuff and eventually to create life. We also tend to portray ourselves like being pure and doing things for the right cause. But in fact humans change their environment and harm almost everything that sourunds them. So in my painting the innocent girl represents humanity. She is going to look at the viewer with a very innocent look in her eyes. The rest of the painting represents what humanity did to the rest of the world , as beeing part of progress.
Now I'm not shure if I should make the girl look at the spectator or beeing even more focused on what she is doing to the creature. The way I see it is that if she is looking at us with an innocent look that means she thinks everuthing is all right; she doesn't do bad things. But if she is looking down at what she is doing, we don't know what she thinks about all that.

Anyway, if you guys have any ideas for me let me know.
Thanks a lot for your comments.

Alex
